Mentorship Takes Many Forms

As the recipient of the 2025 Inter-American Photochemical Society (I-APS) Young Investigator Award, Lisa took postdoctoral scholars Nisha and Aditi to Destin Florida to present the group’s research and recieve the award. The three immersed themselves in science within the fantastic I-APS community of photochemists. Interacting with other scientists represents a critical mechanism for growth in our research and thinking and is an aspect of mentorship that Lisa values greatly, supporting students, postdocs, and undergraduate researchers to attend and present their research at top conferences worldwide.
